Never too young for Capricorn Beach lifestyle!

Nineteen year air conditioning mechanic Matt Zulch proves that even very young first home buyers in Perth can now build a brand new home beside the beach. Matt, who currently lives with his parents at Carabooda, has just signed up for a house and land package at Capricorn Yanchep with his new home only being 600 metres from the beach.

A beach lover who has been snorkelling from the age of 10, Matt says his dream as a young boy was to own a home beside the beach.

“I am delighted I have realised my dream so soon and I am looking forward to building my new home at Capricorn Yanchep.

“It took me a number of years to save up my deposit but with house and land packages at Capricorn Yanchep now below $400,000, it was a no brainer to seize the opportunity and build a new home now rather than waiting before property prices begin to rise.

“The 375sqm lot I purchased was one of the last in this particular release at Capricorn Yanchep and I knew I had to move quickly to secure it.

“Unlike other land Estates in the local area, my lot is within easy walking distance to the beach as well as community facilities because Yanchep is an established area.

“I have been motivated in my journey to save for a deposit and build a new home at the earliest opportunity because I have seen too many young  people in trades blowing all their money on new cars and holidays only to find that in their mid-thirties they have nothing to their name,” he said.

Matt has signed up B1 Homes to build his new three bedroom two bathroom home on his 375sqm lot.

“I decided to build because I could not see real value in buying an established property.

“Building a new home also allowed me to construct my new home to my particular requirements with a larger garage for my tools and installing higher specifications in the home such as copper water pipes instead of plastic pipes as well as upgrades to the wiring system. B1 Homes have been very helping in achieving this outcome for me,” he said.

Jarrod Rendell, Project Director for Capricorn Yanchep said there had been very strong activity by first home buyers in the Estate during recent months.

“Lot prices at Capricorn Yanchep now start from just $175,000 and this is a very affordable entry point for first home buyers wanting to build a home within direct walking distance to the beach.

“These competitive land prices combined with improving levels of community amenity and a unique coastal lifestyle are now encouraging many first home buyers like Matt to build a new home at the Estate,” he said.
