Swimming & Fishing in Yanchep
An extremely popular swimming and snorkelling spot, Yanchep Lagoon is worth visiting. It boasts calm, crystal clear water, and waves average just over 1 metre along the beach. The safest swimming spots are the Southern lagoon beach and the South end of the main lagoon. Yancheep Lagoon is also great for fishing. Neighbouring beaches are also good fishing spots. In late Spring it is common to see whales frolic close to shore on their way down the coast of Western Australia.

Sun City Country Club is worth visiting due to its tranquil atmosphere. It is well known for its long sweeping breaks on greens as well as its length of many of its holes, demanding good use of every club in the bag, including the long irons.
