A couple residing in Yancheps’ Bethanie Beachside village celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary this week.
Patricia (79, nee Smith) and Raymond (80) Chapple met in Grimsby, Lincolnshire, UK, in their late teens, marrying at St James Church on September 8, 1956. The couple now have two sons, a daughter, 14 grandchildren, and now seven great-grandchildren.
Having seen their fair share of the world, including a stint living in Spain, before coming down to the Perth suburb of Kingsley in the late 1990s.
Since then, the retired couple has settled down in Yanchep’s Bethanie Beachside village is in an idyllic location, nestled between pristine beaches and Yanchep National Park. The village is the perfect place to keep the family together – located only 5 minutes from Capricorn Yanchep Estate.
