Best Places for Fruit Picking Near Yanchep

Looking for cheap entertainment this weekend? Fruit picking is the answer!

Berry Sweet Strawberry Farm

Delicious fresh WA strawberries are available here all year round! Don’t be fooled by the name, they also have fresh blueberries and raspberries plus frozen strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, and blackberries.

If you have a sweet tooth, you will need to try their jams and chutneys, and treat yourself to some yummy homemade baked goods such as scones, cookies, and cheesecakes!

Strawberry picking is only available during Perth’s strawberry season but they always have fresh fruit available from their other farm in Pemberton. You’ll find the Berry Sweet Strawberry Farm on Davidson Street in Bullsbrook.

Kien’s Strawberry Farm

Kien’s Strawberry Farm is a small family run business on Baderup Road in Gnangara. A box will only cost you $7 or get two boxes for $12! Best of all you can east as many as you want while you’re picking! Kien’s Strawberry Farm also had other fresh local produce for sale and will give you plenty of recipes ideas and tips!

Apricot Acres Farm

Apricot Acres Farm is a small family operated farm in Bindoon. They supply the Perth region with citrus fruits, especially apricots, oranges, mandarins, currents, and plums. They also have delicious fresh honey!

The Mango Farm

You guessed it, at The Mango Farm you can pick your own juicy seedless mangoes! The fruit grown here is free from pesticides and insecticides (fruit fly and other insects are controlled using bate). The fruit that is offered for sale has been left to mature and ripen on the trees which gives it an extra sweet flavour.

While you’re there, enjoy some delicious mango smoothies, mango chutney, dried mango, and frozen slices. They also have a BBQ area for those family picnics, the only downside is that mango season doesn’t last all year! The Mango Farm is open daily in February and March and you’ll find them on Wattle Ave in West Neerabup.
