Spring is here at Capricorn Beach, and with it comes longer days, warmer mornings and a few more reasons to get out and enjoy Yanchep.
This October, there’s something new coming to the neighbourhood too – the Y-Local Farmers Market.
A new Saturday morning ritual
Launching Saturday 17 October at the Yanchep Botanical Garden Precinct, the Y-Local Farmers Market will bring together local growers, producers, bakers, makers and food businesses from Yanchep, Two Rocks and surrounds.
Running from 8am to 12 noon, it’s the first of four planned pilot markets, with a focus on produce and products that are genuinely grown, made or prepared locally.
Pick up something fresh for the week, grab a coffee, discover a new local favourite and spend the morning getting to know some of the people behind the businesses in our community.
It’s an easy way to start a Saturday and once the market wraps up, you’re already perfectly placed to make a day of it.
From the markets to the beach, spring weekends in Yanchep are looking pretty good.
A Fresh Season by the Coast
From the market, make your way back to the coast and settle into the rest of the day.
Stop for a relaxed lunch at Yanchep Beach Club, take a walk along the foreshore or simply enjoy a little more time outside as the afternoon stretches towards sunset.
Spring has a way of making the simple things feel even better. Longer days mean more time outdoors, evening walks return to the routine and staying by the beach for sunset doesn’t have to wait for the weekend.
With a new local market bringing the community together and more reasons to get out and explore, it’s a beautiful time of year to enjoy everything close to home. If you’d love to make weekends like this part of your everyday life, our land for sale and house and land packages put you just moments from the coast.
Start the morning local. Make your way to the coast. Stay for sunset.
Spring has arrived at Capricorn Beach.
