Meditate

If you are feeling a bit stressed and overwhelmed, meditating is one of the best things you can do calm and relieve your mind. Find yourself a quiet space and try to quiet your mind, if you have never done this before, we recommend downloading the Headspace or Smiling Mind apps to help guide you!

Set up a home movie theatre

We know that you cannot go to the movies at the moment, but if you want to make watching a movie at home an experience, whether it be just yourself or with your children, why not jazz it up? Create an area in front of the tv with lots of pillows, blankets, popcorn and even some fairy lights!

Camping outside

Something the kids will love, or the young at heart. Set your tent up in the backyard, set up a small fire or light up the BBQ, even bring out the deck chairs. Create a realistic camping experience in your own backyard, spend the night in your tent or watch the stars at night. Roast marshmallows and cook your dinner as if you were camping in the outback. The kids are sure to love this idea and let their imagination run free.

If you want to stretch your legs and get some fresh air, take a trip to Yanchep National Park. Here you can explore caves, look for the local koalas, take part in the Tree’s Adventure courses or choose one of the nine walking trails on offer ranging from one day 1km walks through to multiple day 52km walks! It is definitely worth checking out one of Yanchep’s treasures.
